  • This mosaic is a memorial mosaic to Sara - the daughter of Alison, a friend of mine. Sara was a gifted ballet dancer. So the mosaic is supposed to represent – though hopefully in a subtle way – Sara in paradise. As Sara dances she conjures up butterflies – who swoop and fly around her.

It’s meant to be funny and uplifting – but when you know the story behind it – it’s poignant and a bit sad.
This mosaic will be installed in the LITU at King’s Hospital in London next month and brighten up what is a very depressing environment at present – I am also instigating a re-paint. (PINK!)
