- Not surprisingly this piece came about as a result of making ‘Black cat 1’ (see above) That single piece that describes the front left leg, running into the neck and shoulders is technically very difficult to achieve.
My first attempt took ages to make but didn’t fit so rather than chuck it I decided to make a second mosaic and rather than make a straight copy I decided to redesign the cat around that single piece.
I am pleased with the result – in some ways MORE pleased than the first one – because it was unexpected I guess.
Together I think they make a fine pair – I hope you agree!
