We have lost many chickens and pet rabbits to Mr Fox over the years, to the point that we no longer keep chickens and only have the one Dutch Dwarf rabbit which we lock up at the 'witching hour'. I have a weird 'love / hate' admiration and respect for the fox, I just wish that he wasn't so hungry!
The image is supposed to show him scheming away - working on how to get his next meal.
I think that they have gone now though, so I am tempted to start again with two chickens.
